Event isn't confirmed until a minimum number of attendees purchase tickets. This is the tipping point. If the tipping point is not met, the event is cancelled at the cutoff date.
How it works
An event is listed but only confirmed when enough presale tickets are sold.
Early buyers get a discount for confirming the event before the cutoff date.
After an event reached its tipping point, ticket sales continue at full price. If not met, the show is cancelled and no one is charged.
*Discount Ticket Price
This is the ticket price for tickets ordered before the event has tipped. Once your tipping point has been met, the the remaining tickets will be full price. It helps to give early purchasers a discount as an incentive to share the deal and help make your event tip.
*Full Ticket Price
This is the ticket price for all tickets ordered after the event has tipped.
Enough tickets must be sold by this date & time in order to tip and confirm your event. The cutoff date must be no more than 30 days from the date your event is published. If you don’t think your event will reach its tipping point by this time, try reducing the discount price or tipping point ticket quantity. For festivals or other large special events that may need more than 30 days, write us at email@example.com for help setting up your event.
*Tipping Point Ticket Quantity
This is the number of tickets needed for your event to reach its tipping point and be confirmed. As soon as this quantity is reached, all orders will be processed and buyers will be notified that the event is confirmed. If this quantity is not met by the cutoff date below, the event will be cancelled.
*Total Ticket Quantity
This is the latest time that ticket sales stop and payments are processed. Once all payments are processed you may download your completed guest list from 'My Kickback'.
